The elegant Teatro SESI-FIESP became insufficient in capacity to receive the presentation of ORSSE in its debut in São Paulo. More than 200 people failed to get entries which were quickly ran out. It was in this way that the city of São Paulo received the Sergipe Symphony Orchestra under the baton of the conductor Guilherme Mannis and guest pianist Alvaro Siviero in this historical moment where, for the first time, the “paulista” capital opened his arms to a Northeast Orchestra.
With the presence of the Governor of Sergipe, Sr. Marcelo Déda, the first lady, Sra. Eliane Aquino, the State Secretary of Culture of Sergipe, Sr. Luiz Alberto dos Santos, the president of BANESE, Sr. João Andrade and several authorities of the cultural and musical sector – the conductor Roberto Tibiríçá, the pianist João Carlos Amaral Vieira, the cultural director of FIESP Fernando Greiber, the journalist Cláudia Matarazzo, among others – the concert began with a warm and excited audience.
