Sistine Chapel receives artists from all over the world in celebration to the tenth anniversary of the letter to the artists
Alvaro Siviero will be representing Brazil in the meeting presided by Benedict XVI in the Sistine Chapel, on 2009,November 20th and 21st. Better known as eternal city, Rome, in November, receives about 500 artists in the Worldwide meeting of artists.
Siviero will be representing the Brazilian artists, what honoured him very much. Some of the artists already confirmed their presence. Among them the architect Daniel Libeskind, author of the Freedom Tower, building that will be replacing the Twin Towers, in NY; Bono Vox – U2; the writer Susanna Tamaro; Robert Wilson – American Theater director; Andrea Bocceli and Ennio Morricone , among others.
The great variety of artists – architects, sculptors, musicians – will be discussing the relationship in between art and faith. Rome, more than eternal, actual and active. Nest of the culture for may people and, for Siviero, nest of an unforgettable moment.
