27 May Siviero and Filarmônica UFRN performing in Natal and Mossoró
On May 25th and 26th, the pianist Alvaro Siviero and the Philharmonic of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte presented two performances in the Northeast area of Brazil, performing the Piano Concerto n.2 by the Hungarian composer Franz Liszt. The two performances that took place at the UFRN Auditorium in Natal and were led by the Canadian conductor Jean-François Rivest. Warm audience, who massively attended both concerts in the state capital.
The next day, in the city of Mossoró (RN’s second largest and known as the salt capital), the performance at the Dix-Huit Rosado Municipal Theater uniquely moved the city culturally. This concert, conducted by the UFRN Philharmonic principal conductor, André Muniz, sealed a cultural partnership between orchestra and pianist.
