Two thousand people audience outbursts after performance of the pianist Alvaro Siviero and John Neschling
The night was unforgettable. The concert that launched the celebration of the 90th anniversary of the newspaper Gazeta do Povo gathered the main personalities of the city at Teatro Guaira. Representatives from cultural and political life, members of society, journalists, among others, followed the concert in a touching silence. “Upon finishing the presentation I felt deeply touched with an exploding sound of applause. The public got involved during the performance”, said in an exclusive interview the pianist Alvaro Siviero, who lived for many years in Curitiba and now lives in São Paulo. After the concert, a cocktail offered to the more of 2000 guests made possible a closer contact with him.
The extreme precision of the musicians, along with the Paraná Symphony Orchestra, caused a deep and respectful impact in the audience, characterized and known for its high level of demand for presentations. “Very soon one can realize whether empathy took place between the conductor and soloist, and this already happened in the rehearsals. He looked at me with great respect and I looked at him with a respect even greater. We had an accomplice smile on the face”, said the pianist. The maestro did not hide his satisfaction too: “I am taking great pleasure in rehearsing and that is the most important thing. To work with pleasure and find out that the musicians, to a certain extent, respond with enthusiasm what you have asked. This happened during the rehearsals and it will happen again on the concert”. And that was exactly what the audience could see.
Pianist and conductor, accompanied by the writer Patricia Melo, also took some moments for leisure strolling in the parks of the city. The public now awaits, again, a near future presentation of Siviero and Neschling.
