Siviero, Leif Ove Andsnes and Liszt

The masterclass took place in São Paulo, promoted by the Mozarteum.

On September 30th, in the morning, the Norwegian pianist Leif Ove Andsnes devoted part of his time during his stay in São Paulo to listen to some pianists in a masterclass promoted by the Brazilian Mozarteum. The pianist Alvaro Siviero was one of the chosen pianists, performing the Fantasia and Fugue on a Theme B.A.C.H, by Liszt. After playing, a casual chat with the pianists emerged, addressing themes such as musical technique, interpretation, the role of music and personal awareness through music.

The immersion ended up with a solid recital of Leif Ove Andsnes at Sala São Paulo.
