Teatro Guaira is the stage for Siviero’s performance of Liszt Piano Concertos n.1 and n.2

The last day of November 6th gathered a significant number of people at Teatro Guaira, in Curitiba, in an unpreceding symphonic performance of the complete Liszt’s Piano Concertos. Siviero, who had just arrived from Rio de Janeiro, where he was the soloist of the Grieg Piano Concerto with the Brazilian Symphony Orchestra, was now being faced with the Paraná Philharmonic in a concert with charitable purposes, where the full box office income would be reverted to two solid educational and social institutions of the Paraná State: the Escola do Bosque-Mananciais and Escola de Hotelaria “Os Pinhais.”

The degree of the technical and musical difficulty of the repertoire was one of the reasons which attracted the large audience, in a daylight labor, that packed the concert hall. The German-Hungarian composer Franz Liszt is known for his characteristic of transferring the various sound effects produced by the piano that require from the interpreter a high degree level of musical maturity.
