21 May Siviero performs in Campinas
The recital took place at the newly reopened Teatro Municipal Castro Mendes.
On May 16th, a piano recital attracted great public presence to the newly opened Municipal Theater José de Castro Mendes. The program included several highly virtuosic piano transcriptions for piano of works by Brahms, Strauss, Bach, Chopin, among others. The first works marked a tribute to the great German master Johann Sebastian Bach, with transcriptions of works by Hess and Kempff of the works Siciliano and Cantata n.147, followed by the dreaded Fantasy and Fugue on a Theme B-A-C-H, by Liszt.
Former secretaries of culture, teachers of the music department at UNICAMP, cultural managers who came from other cities to attend the performance, were some of the people who attended the celebrated event, sponsored by the Academia Campinense de Letras.
