21 Jun CEAP Pedreira celebrates its 25th anniversary with an electrifying recital with Alvaro Siviero
The recital was based exclusively on works by Chopin.
A unique experience. The pianist Alvaro Siviero left the CEAP-Centro Assistencial e Educacional de Pedreira deeply moved by the warm reception received by the faculty of this assistencial school. His recital, based on works by Chopin, created close contact with the public who enthusiastically looked for him to talk, asked to take pictures and extended, so to speak, those magic moments. “One could see the real interest of people for classical music. Don’t forget that we are talking about people aconomically in disadvantage. The attention and silence from those present there was almost sacred. It was rewarding”.
Located in a region of very low income, the CEAP-Pedreira is responsible for promoting a very prestigious initiative about social inclusion, enabling thousands of young people to take effective and rewarding professional activity.
