15 Aug In Aracajú, Siviero performs with ORSSE in festive concert
Concert Event sheers the two years of the artistic director and conductor Guilherme Mannis.
It was a great night at Tobias Barreto Theatre, official Hall of Sergipe State Symphony.
As soon as the doors were open to the public a huge queue was formed to buy the tickets and another even bigger in the foyer of the Theatre to get inside the Hall.We had a large audience watching the Tchaikovsky Festival, which already guaranteed its second edition in 2009. Better than that was the main celebration of he night: the two years of the conductor Maestro Guilherme Mannis leading artistically the Sergipe State Symphony, accompanied by the praised musicians Alvaro Siviero and Daniel Guedes, who showed unmistakable virtuosity and talent.
The performance of the Capriccio Italien was amazing. This work had already caused excited applause from the students – who were at that time for the first time in contact with classical music – in the morning during the open dress rehearsal. The night went on with the Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto, thrilling from the stage to the audience and touching theis hearts and was performed by the one who is at his second time playing with the ORSSE, Daniel Guedes. The experience with the Tchaikovsky Piano Concerto was not different, reaching the highest level of concentration in the audience which followed the almost invisible hands of the pianist Alvaro Siviero. His communion with the instrument was such, so intense, that man and piano were one only thing, playing one another, from the smoothness of the first movement till the apotheosis of the grand finale. Unbelievable!
Full house for classical music. Everyone knows that this is a rare thing to happen, especially when having to base ourselves on creativity to attract and gain more public not only for now but for the eternity. Every time I am more and more convinced that the best answer to everything is Music.
